His Excellency Mohamed BENALILOU
Mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco
Mohamed Benalilou is the mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco since December 13, 2018. He was born on February 2, 1975, and is married with two children. He has a university postgraduate diploma and a bachelor’s degree in Law, Private Law Division. He also has several professional certificates and has obtained the National Reward Medal.
He has held various judicial duties, including being an Advisor at the Court of Cassation and a Judge at the Administrative Court in Rabat. He has also held administrativeresponsibilities and tasks, such as being the Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Justice and the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Justice and Liberties.
Additionally, he has been involved in advisory tasks, including being a Member of the Supreme Commission for Justice System Reform and a Founding Member of the Arab Network to Combat Corruption and Support Integrity and Transparency. He has also held teaching tasks, such as being a Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the Higher Judicial Institute.
He has participated in many international conferences concerned with combating corruption, organized crime, terrorist crimes, human rights, and international judicial cooperation in the criminal field. He has also published many legal and judicial articles and organized many seminars and study days for the benefit of a group of judges, members of public prosecutors, judicial police officers, and employees charged with the tasks of investigating environmental crime.
