Tripoli – The Administrative Oversight Board of Libya (ACA) has been officially accepted as a new member of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), marking a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to strengthen its global cooperation in the fight against corruption.

The membership, which will be formally ratified at the IAACA General Meeting in December 2025 in Doha, Qatar, enables the ACA to collaborate with international peers, share experiences, and enhance capacity-building initiatives to improve integrity systems and governance practices.

The IAACA has already updated its official website to include a detailed profile of the Libyan ACA, outlining its role in combating corruption, and published a welcome announcement across its global platforms.

The IAACA is an independent, non-political organization bringing together more than 161 anti-corruption bodies worldwide. Its mission is to strengthen international cooperation, promote exchange of expertise, and support the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

Libya’s inclusion highlights the ACA’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and alignment with international anti-corruption standards, as the institution continues to pursue reforms that reinforce public trust in state institutions.
