Amman – July 2025
As part of its ongoing national efforts to foster a culture of integrity and transparency across Jordanian institutions, the Jordanian Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC), through its Center for Innovation and Training, conducted two specialized training programs for employees of Al-Balqa Applied University.

The first program, titled “Integrity and Anti-Corruption,” brought together 13 university employees and was delivered by experts from the Commission. It covered critical components of Jordan’s National Integrity Standards, an overview of corruption-related offenses as outlined in the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law, and the role of cybersecurity and digital tools in modern anti-corruption efforts.

A key highlight was the session on the Digital Evidence Lab operated by the Commission’s Digital Support Directorate, which showcased Jordan’s capacity to investigate corruption cases using advanced digital forensic tools.

In parallel, a second training was held under the theme “Protection of Witnesses, Whistleblowers, and Experts in Corruption Cases.” This program educated participants on the legal framework in Jordan for protective measures, the eligibility criteria, and the rights and obligations of individuals who benefit from such protection.

These initiatives are aligned with Jordan’s broader national anti-corruption strategy, aiming to strengthen institutional accountability, promote ethical governance, and build public confidence in oversight mechanisms. The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to empowering public sector professionals with the skills and legal knowledge needed to actively contribute to a corruption-free Jordan.
