PESHAWAR, August 2025: Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) and Secretary General of the OIC Ombudsman Association (OICOA), Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah, personally led the relief efforts of the Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) in flood-hit districts of Buner and Swabi, bringing critical medical care and essential supplies to over 2,000 affectees.

Dr. Jah, who is also the Secretary General of CHCS, visited the most damaged areas of Buner to supervise aid distribution and ensure timely medical attention for flood victims. CHCS medical teams, including lady doctors, treated patients suffering from diseases such as skin infections, eye irritation, and diarrhea, while also distributing essential ration packs and children’s meals.
After completing a week-long relief mission in Buner, Dr. Jah personally led teams to Dalori Bala and Dalori Payan in Swabi, where extensive damage was reported. Alongside medical services, CHCS also assessed housing damages to plan future reconstruction support.
Prominent businessman and FTO Media Advisory Committee member Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi praised Dr. Jah’s humanitarian leadership, calling his efforts a “religious, moral, and national responsibility” and urging the public to support CHCS in continuing its noble mission.
CHCS, under Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah’s supervision, has pledged to continue its relief operations across the country to assist disaster-hit communities.
