The Secretariat of the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman convened the 32nd meeting of the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman at the Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat, Islamabad.

The meeting was presided over by the Honourable Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan, Mr Naveed Kamran Baloch, and was hosted by the Executive Secretary of the OICOA & Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman, Mr Almas Ali Jovindah. Honourable Ms Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson FOSPAH, Mr Sirajuddin Aziz Federal Banking Ombudsman, Mr Sohail Rajput Ombudsman Sindh, Dr Najma Afzal Khan Ombudsperson Punjab, and Justice (R) Shahnawaz Tariq Sindh Ombudsman for Protection against Harassment also attended the meeting.

Representatives of Ombudsman and Ombudsperson institutions from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Balochistan, and Sindh actively participated in the session.

The meeting focused on discussions relating to the bylaws of the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman, proposed amendments, and measures aimed at strengthening institutional coordination and enhancing the collective effectiveness of ombudsman institutions across Pakistan.

Participants also exchanged views on improving public outreach, grievance redressal mechanisms, and inter institutional collaboration in order to promote administrative justice and citizen centric governance.

The session reaffirmed the Forum’s shared commitment towards transparency, accountability, and accessible justice through stronger cooperation among member institutions.
